Hmmmmmm.......

There's a weird feeling in the air tonight. It seems as if my boss isn't in a real good mood. See, this brings me down as well. He has helped me stay sane in this crazy environment and if he isn't doing good then that trickles down to me as well. I see that he is drinking his "Fizzy Lifting" drink though so i will keep my fingers crossed.

Sleepless in Balad.....

Well a couple posts down there was talk of a magical Starburst fairy. That guy is really cool! What isn't really cool is 3 grown men in a 10x10 room together. Seems to have a disturbance on my sleep patterns with all the different smells and loud sounds. Oh how I long for the days of tent city again!!!! i will also have to concur with John on the .338 Win Mag. With a light enough bullet, it would make a fine pronghorn round. I say go for it!!

Gun I want, but probably wont get... Sigh

I would like to get this one ( Weatherby .338 win mag sub moa). After I get it I wil install a Blackhawk Axiom recoil supression stock. I think that it would make a fantastic long range rifle. A light enough bullet would be fine for pronghorn, I am guessing. I would like to go after moose one day.

Special night in Balad

Today, the magical candy fairy left a bag of Starbursts for the good boys on the graveyard shift. There is a sand storm rolling in, and it looks like the next few days could get ugly. We had a new SSgt shipped to use, and we just got him out of the wrapping and packaging peanuts. He still has that new sergeant smell. The next few days will be spent firing up his CPU, and installing useless guidance parameters.
